Possible problem with subs / amp setup?

I have two Soundstream 12" subs in my car hooked up to a 1200watt amp at the moment. It's just been finished installing and hooked up, tuned and everything.

    The problem i have is:

For a few songs (hardstyle, etc) it seems like the subs are slow, like it misses a beat maybe? Probably not a whole beat, but it seems like they are slow.

    Anyone had this problem before?

    Cheers

has alot 2 do with what the subs are tuned 2, what box and the type of subs. If its ported 2 12" subs arnt ideal for hardstyle.. lol.

Ported boxes add delay to sound output. Should seal those motherfuckers if you want to listen to very quick, responsive bass.

Alright. It's a dual box for 12" subs, but yeah, we had to drill holes in the sides. If it's airtight, it's gonna change much?

Cords were way too big for it. The holes are huge, but would it make a difference?
