    FML XRSCAR Down for atleast a MONTH!

    Well, works been fair shit bar the past 2/3 months so i haven't been driving my baby much... for the past 6/7 months its been having some issues... one mainly the rear end clunking which i got "checked" by my mechanic nizpro. They told me it wasn't my rear diff bushes (which i thought it would have been) and its something else but they can't figure it out.

    Anyways pass some months along until around now, works flowing i can finally throw her back into the workshop to have another look (deciding not to go with nizpro as they fucked my brakes the last time i went in there $1200 waste) I've decided to go with my main man Mick @ Pitlane Automotive.

    Taking her in for a major service + check over and a roadworthy because i couldn't afford rego this year and actually got done unrego'd from a boozebus afew months ago.

    Get a call from Pitlane few hours after dropping it off and all my rear bushes are gone... leaky rear shocks and my diff is also leaking near some front plate... so i've fixed all that so far (including major service and i think its 5x diff bushes - $2k)

    Car gets put into the roadworthy.. now my rear end was hit a couple months after i brought the car from somebody else and there insurance company was never notified so i couldn't make a claim AGAINST him... anyways the quote to fix was 2.7k but i could never find a time to fix it (and at my expense) So back to the roadworthy they said because the boots not sealed (it locks and closes) needs to be fixed, need a new windscreen(its fucking fine), 4 new tyres and new wipers and hand brake adjustment.

    No problems about the last 2 and my 2 rears where bald as hell... but my fronts where fine... so now im up for atleast another 4/5k to get her back to roadworthy and $750 to get her back on the road after all thats done!

    FML!

    In other news a disgruntled R34-GTR thought he could take me on going to the mechanics... haw haw haw ... CYA m8!

    Can afford it... just need 2/3 weeks worth of work and i only know for certain next week. So kind of sucks.. im having to drive around in a 96 EL Falcon... hahah with 13" chrome hubcaps!

    ive come to realise nice cars such as yours are a waste of time and money.

    im hoping to buy myself an old r31 soon for the track, and just use my old hilux and work car as dailies.

    thx guys thought id just have a rant and let some peoples know the update... really wish instead of all of this was getting the cooler/turbo redone and retune for the cash im spending but oh well!
