If you look at it from a physiology point of view it will be easier for your brain/nervous system/muscles to remember how far to shift the mouse with mouse acceleration off as all your brain needs to know is how far to shift the mouse to get to point A.
With mouse acceleration on your brain needs to know how far and also how fast to shift the mouse to point A.
The key thing that Huk has said is to keep it all
consistent, constantly changing your settings will not make you a consistent player.
